I had such a great experience with AutoMind Squamish. I was originally dealing with Carol, who was absolutely wonderful — friendly, responsive, and super helpful from the start. Patrick, the manager, was also fantastic and made sure everything was handled smoothly. They repaired my RAV4 and genuinely made the whole process stress free. Communication was excellent throughout, everything was clearly explained, and I always felt confident my car was in good hands. It’s not easy to find a shop you can truly trust, but this one stands out. Highly recommend!
I brought my car in for repairs and all the staff especially Carol were amazing huge shout out to the work they did and how friendly, knowledgeable, respectful and helpful they are. AutoMind went up above and I can't thank you enough.
My elderly mother, has had lots of work done at Auto Mind Squamish . The work done was exceptional ! Even more importantly the staff was kind, respectful, and communicated so well and a way my mother could understand.Thank you so much for your outstanding service and communication !
I brought my F350 in for some major body work after a bad accident. The staff were extremely friendly and very knowledgeable at what was going to need to be done. They kept in constant contact with me about everything. The quote was right on target too. Got my truck back and I am completely satisfied with the work. I would highly recommend this place.
I would not recommend this shop. I had my Honda Fit repaired here and they damaged my interior passenger seat, which was never addressed despite my request. The repair process took an excessive amount of time due to delays with parts and booking. Communication was very poor—I missed one call about service being completed and wasn’t contacted again until a week later. They then attempted to charge me for an extra week of rental, even though insurance should have covered it and they had my email on file; which they could have notified me through. Overall, the experience was frustrating and disappointing. I have had a few friends with similar experiences with this shop, which is what has prompted my review. Please go anywhere else in Squamish.
Extremely poor and misleading communication. I was closely involved in helping a friend deal with this shop for what should have been a straightforward repair, and the experience dragged on for nearly two months longer than promised. They repeatedly gave completion dates, only to delay by weeks when pickup time arrived. Communication was vague at best. Phone calls often went unanswered, and when we did get through, explanations were unclear, inconsistent, or sounded like excuses rather than real updates. At no point was there a clear, transparent reason given for the repeated delays. It would have been fine if there was an upfront "this will take 4 weeks longer than expected because if xyz", but no.There are numerous examples to give underscoring the mismanagement and poor communication experienced, but there is no point. The bottom line is that I could not recommend this shop to anyone looking for a reasonable repair timeline, honest updates, or basic customer service. If clear communication and accountability matter to you, look elsewhere.
I cannot recommend AutoMind less. The communication was incredibly challenging and my vehicle was given back to me a month and a half after they quoted. I was given excuse after excuse. Go anywhere else in town.
I was quite disappointed by their communication. Brought in my Delica for a fix. As first they told they don't work on Delica, however one of their mechanics came to evaluate the work to be done and say it was feasible. They gave me an estimate. A month later, I called them to make a plan, they told me I should go to their office to sign some paperwork. Once there, they tell me that they don't work on Delicas and that I should go somewhere else... what a waste of my time !
Great work and very accommodating! Special thanks to Carol Sanford and her team for facilitating a rental car and working around our tricky schedule. They ensured we had the vehicle in time, so we didn’t need to extend the rental beyond what insurance would cover. Truly appreciated their professionalism and flexibility.
Its terrible, just for my grill im taking 3months of waiting to get fix after paying and still looks like they dont have any plan to fix it.im not recommending anyone to come back here .Trying to call them and there phone always say that they are close.
If there was a 0 star option, I would give that. These guys are an absolute joke. My husband brought in his truck to get the front bumper repaired after someone ran into his truck. 2 weeks later, these guys repaired the back bumper (which had nothing wrong with it) and didn’t even touch the front bumper. Who replaced the WRONG BUMPER? These guys are not right. It’s worth waiting the extra time to go to another body shop, so that you don’t have to deal with these fools.
Unfinished, and poor-quality.Brought my car here for a broken window and a paint job on January 27th 2025, and did not get my car back till May 3rd 2025.Cleaned my car and vacuumed it before bringing it here, and when we went to go pick it up for the first time, it was so dirty and dusty. The hood was open, and the driver door was not working but they said "Oh it's just frozen." WRONG, I think they reassembled it wrong because the door still doesn't unlock. The headliner was also falling apart, so it was decided that they would also fix that. They were also supposed to paint the roof because but they didn't do that. For the next 2 1/2 months they told me that they were still looking for an upholstery shop, and the proper headliner, and then delivery would take a while (this whole process altogether was probably a month). They ended up finding one but it had cig holes in it, so they had to find another one.FINALLY, they did the headliner but plot twist, they didn't do it properly. We were not happy with the way it was done, but the person who did this stuff going to be away for two weeks so it was going to take a little while longer. Fine.Their second attempt at fixing the headliner, apparently the glue leaked through the material so it was a no go. Then they asked if my dad could just do it himself...Went to go pick up my car today and the car was already running to hide the fact that the battery was dead because they jump started it. The car would not start again when we tried after we arrived home. They didn't even think to consider that since my car had been in this shop for so long, to check the battery. The car is still very dirty, there's rust on the new hood (we replaced it months prior), the remote keys for the car doesn't even work, neither does the door lock mechanisms. Also, the car STILL does not have a headliner!!! Mind you, that is the whole reason that the car was kept there for another 2 1/2 months.
Had a vehicle run into the front end of my Audi, and had it repaired under insurance with automind.. At first the repair seemed to be good as the paint did match and the bumper had been replaced, but within a week I realized the paintwork was beyond thin on my front bumper/fender. The paint applied by the shop was covered completely in paint chips with only 250km of driving since the repair, almost as if there hadn’t been even any clear coat on it. I had no problems with customer service, however, would have expected it to hold up a little better.
Mike and Team were incredible. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left and everything in between…the service was kind, grounded, honest, and supportive. The process felt easy and the car was returned in immaculate condition. Impressive from start to finish. Highly recommend AutoMind. 👍🏼
Team was very helpful and friendly! The paint and repairs were absolutely clean.
Hi, I'd like a quote. is it an ICBC claim? No. 3 days later, looking for the quote. Oh yeah excuses x3 but we're on it...2 weeks later no quote.
We had an emergency fender failure - rubbing on tire - on the way to Whistler. Mechanic got under car & repaired - in & out in 20 minutes. Awesome service. And he wouldn't even accept payment.
REVISED....James explained the situation and rectified all deficiencies accordingly.AutoMind stands behind the work the do.ORIGINAL...Reinstallation of panels and access areas poor.Blocked emergency power cables when reinstalling front bumper. Broken bolt and missing panel plugs discovered when trying to free the blocked emergency power cable.Communication poor.Called to ask if vehicle was ready at end of quoted period and was told that it would not be ready and they would call me. Called again 1 day past quoted period and was told vehicle was ready. At pick up I was told the vehicle was ready the day prior when promised.update 2 days after pickup the front badging fell off at the car wash. The badging had broken tabs and was not even secured in place.
